Ronneby brunnspark

Ronneby brunnspark is a large area featuring gardens, water features, and forested zones that show different phases of park development. The complex includes historic wooden buildings, lakes with small waterfalls, and themed garden sections spread throughout the grounds.

The park started in 1705 as a mineral water source and grew into one of Sweden's most visited spas by the late 1800s. This boom led to the construction of buildings and gardens across the grounds to attract and house visitors.

The park was shaped in the 1800s by a landscape designer who blended gardens with water features and natural surroundings. You can observe how these designed spaces merge with the surrounding forests, creating distinct areas that reflect this artistic approach.

The park is open year-round and offers various activities like museum visits, flea markets, or dining in historic buildings. It is best explored on foot at your own pace, allowing time to discover the different areas and sections.

One section of the park contains over 50 plant species that release their scents one after another during the growing season. This arrangement allows visitors to experience different aromas throughout the year if they return at different times.
