Rosersberg Palace, Royal palace in Rosersberg, Sweden.

The palace stands on the shores of Lake Mälaren, featuring architectural elements from both Renaissance and Baroque periods with distinct gables and roofing.

Built in 1634 by the Oxenstierna family, the palace became a royal residence in 1762 when Duke Charles initiated extensive renovations in late Gustavian style.

The Orange and Red drawing rooms display the Charles XIII Empire style, marking a departure from traditional Swedish Gustavian interior design approaches.

Visitors can explore the palace rooms and collections that remain unchanged since 1860, offering direct insight into 19th-century Swedish royal life.

Karl XIV Johan's bedchamber contains original furnishings from the early 1800s, making it one of Sweden's most complete period rooms.
