Silverfallet, Natural waterfall in Skövde, Sweden
The Silverfallet waterfall system consists of multiple cascades along Karlsfors Creek, with vertical drops ranging between 5 and 10 meters in height.
The waterfall area includes remnants of 19th-century limestone mills and industrial structures that utilized the water power for energy production and mineral extraction.
The waterfall sits within Silverfallet-Karlsfors Nature Reserve, where visitors can learn about Swedish industrial heritage through interpretive signs along the trails.
Four trailheads provide access to a 1.6-kilometer loop path that leads to different viewing points of the waterfall and surrounding natural features.
The site combines natural water features with preserved industrial structures, while electric fencing protects visitors from approaching the mini gorge edges.
