Häringe Castle, Manor castle in Södermanland, Sweden
Häringe Castle is a white two-story manor in the south of Stockholm featuring a mansard roof and wings extending from both sides of the main structure. The property includes a large swimming pool on the southern section and operates today as a hotel and conference center.
Field Marshal Gustav Horn directed construction of the main building in 1657, with the south wing representing an even earlier addition to the property. The estate underwent various renovations and expansions over subsequent centuries.
The manor served as a social hub for wealthy guests and notable figures throughout much of the 20th century. It reflects how elite Swedish families used their estates for entertaining and gatherings.
The manor lies approximately 35 kilometers south of Stockholm and is easily accessible from the city. The property currently operates as a private hotel and venue, so visitor access may be limited to guests and event participants.
The property features underground tunnels and a bowling alley from earlier renovations that still exist today. It was also the location of Sweden's first outdoor swimming pool equipped with a slide.
