Södertuna Castle

Södertuna Castle stands on a small island in Lake Frösjön, featuring architecture that combines medieval elements with 17th and 18th-century renovations.

The von Eckermann family divided the castle from its parkland in 1985, leading to its transformation into a hotel with Princess Christina inaugurating it in 1986.

The castle dining rooms maintain elements of 18th-century design while serving regional dishes prepared with ingredients from the Sörmland region.

The hotel rooms include modern amenities such as LCD TVs, wireless internet, and each space is furnished differently with lake, park, or garden views.

Guests can participate in seasonal activities including canoeing during summer months and ice skating on the frozen lake during winter.
