Acusticum

Studio Acusticum is a concert hall in Piteå designed with specialized acoustics to optimize sound quality for performances. The building houses one of Scandinavia's largest pipe organs, which takes up significant space within the main performance area.

The Woehl Organ was inaugurated in October 2012 with a festival of performances by international musicians to showcase its capabilities. The construction of this facility represented a major investment in establishing a world-class music venue in northern Sweden.

The venue is part of the School of Music at Luleå University of Technology and shapes music education in northern Scandinavia. Artists and students experience an environment that supports both traditional organ music and contemporary composition.
