Fjätervålen is a ski resort located in Dalarna with slopes ranging from 685 to 1002 meters in elevation. The mountain features approximately 20 kilometers of downhill runs across all difficulty levels plus around 48 kilometers of cross-country skiing tracks.
The resort developed as a winter sports destination in central Sweden's Dalarna region during the latter half of the 20th century. Over time it became recognized as a key location for downhill and cross-country skiing in the area.
The resort draws winter sports enthusiasts from across the region who come together for shared enjoyment during snowy months. People of different abilities gather here to pursue their chosen activities on the mountain.
Three ski lifts transport visitors up the mountain to reach different slopes and terrain. Beginners will find gentle runs while more advanced skiers can access steeper sections.
The facility contains Dalarna's highest slope where specialized training zones are available for competitive skiers. Athletes use these designated areas to practice giant slalom and slalom techniques.
