Folkets park, Public park in Södra Innerstaden, Malmö, Sweden.

Folkets Park is a large public park with open green spaces, playgrounds, carousels, entertainment venues, and a petting zoo for visitors of all ages. It features diverse attractions spread across the grounds that cater to different interests.

The park was established in 1893 as a gathering place for working-class residents. These origins made it a model for similar recreational spaces throughout Sweden.

The Moriska Pavilion, styled to resemble an oriental palace, regularly hosts music and dance performances throughout the year. This venue reflects the park's role as a social gathering place and shows how it continues to function as a cultural center today.

Entering the park is free, but individual attractions require separate admission. Operating hours for facilities change with the seasons, so it helps to check ahead before your visit.

The main entrance features Japanese architectural elements, while the Amiralen building from the 1930s was once the largest dance hall in Scandinavia. This historic venue shows the cultural life and events that shaped the park over the decades.
