Tivoliparken, Solna, Public park in Bergshamra district, Solna, Sweden.
Tivoliparken is a public park in the Bergshamra district of Solna that extends on a peninsula into Brunnsviken. The grounds feature walking paths, restored terraces, and landscaped green spaces designed according to Fredrik Magnus Piper's original layout.
The park took its name from King Gustav III's visit to Tivoli near Rome in 1784, which inspired Count Gustav Philip Creutz to develop this site. The design drew influence from Roman garden traditions that shaped the grounds.
The park holds a connection to composer Joseph Martin Kraus, whose grave visitors can find among the green spaces. This memorial reflects the site's artistic past.
The park is accessible from several entry points and offers different routes to explore depending on your interests and available time. The maintained pathways make it easy to walk around the grounds at any time of day.
During the Second World War, between 1939 and 1945, the grounds hosted an anti-aircraft battery with about 100 soldiers stationed there. This unit achieved a notable success when it intercepted a German courier plane.
