Trbovlje Chimney

The Trbovlje Chimney is a concrete tower rising 360 meters above the Sava valley, built to disperse emissions from a nearby power station. Its tall, slender shape dominates the landscape and can be seen from across the entire region.

The chimney was completed in 1976 during a period of industrial expansion in Slovenia when larger power facilities were being developed. Its construction reflected the region's commitment to modernizing its energy infrastructure at that time.
