Kope-Ribniško Pohorje Ski Resort, Winter sports resort in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia.
Kope-Ribniško Pohorje Ski Resort is a winter sports area in Slovenj Gradec on the western section of the Pohorje mountain range. It combines two former separate ski areas and offers slopes for different skill levels, equipped with multiple lifts and rental services.
The area came from joining two former independent ski areas called Kope and Ribnica na Pohorju. This merger created a larger ski destination in the region.
The resort draws skiers from across the region, creating a gathering space where visitors experience the rhythm of winter sports culture firsthand. Training slopes and racing courses show how deeply skiing connects to the local community's identity.
The terrain spreads across different elevations and offers slopes for beginners through advanced skiers. Clear signage and multiple rental shops and dining spots make it easy to navigate and enjoy your day on the slopes.
The summit reaches 1,542 meters while the base sits at 715 meters, creating a significant vertical drop that supports varied terrain. This elevation helps ensure reliable snow conditions throughout the winter season.
