Tošč

Tošč is a mountain summit in the Polhov Gradec Hills rising to 1,021 meters, with varied terrain across the Slovene Prealps. The peak features mixed forests, open sections, and expansive views over the surrounding mountain landscape.

The summit gained its current prominence in the 1970s when construction on neighboring Pasja Ravan reduced that peak's height by 8 meters. This change made Tošč the highest point in this local mountain group.

The summit is part of the European long-distance hiking route E7, which draws walkers from across the continent. This pathway connects hikers seeking to traverse a major ridge crossing multiple countries.

Multiple marked trails reach the summit, with most routes taking three to four hours depending on the starting point and your pace. Weather conditions change with the seasons, so prepare accordingly before heading up.
