Tošč, Mountain summit in Polhov Gradec Hills, Slovenia
The Tošč summit reaches an elevation of 1,021 meters above sea level, presenting varied terrain and natural landscapes within the Slovene Prealps region.
The summit gained prominence in the 1970s when construction work on the neighboring Pasja Ravan peak reduced its height by eight meters, making Tošč the highest point.
Tošč forms part of the European long-distance path E7, which connects 127 peaks across the region and draws hikers from multiple countries.
Multiple marked trails lead to the summit of Tošč, with most routes taking between three to four hours to complete depending on the starting point.
The summit ranks as the 84th highest peak among 9,254 in Slovenia and holds the 20th position out of 2,292 peaks in the Slovene Prealps.
