Constructed between 1499 and 1500, this church represents the oldest wooden ecclesiastical structure in Slovakia and survived multiple religious transitions during the Reformation and Counter-Reformation periods.
The church contains valuable Gothic wall paintings from 1655 and 1805 depicting biblical scenes, alongside a late-Gothic triptych and panel paintings portraying St. Francis of Assisi and other religious figures.
Visitors can explore the church on weekdays from 8:30 to 17:00, Saturdays from 9:00 to 17:00, and Sundays from 13:30 to 17:30, with tourist information available through the Bardejov Tourist Information Office.
