Assumption of Mary Church

The Assumption of Mary Church is a Gothic structure featuring stone walls, pointed arches, and a tall bell tower that stands above the city center of Roznava. The interior contains vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows that cast light across the altars and side chapels.

Construction began around 1300 and the building was strengthened with Gothic elements over the following centuries. Despite various changes, the original structure and religious purpose of the site remained intact across generations.

Visitors can enter the building daily through the main entrance and should wear respectful clothing, especially during services. The best time to visit is outside of Mass times when the space is less crowded.
