Church of the Holy Spirit, Modern Catholic church in Dúbravka district, Bratislava, Slovakia.
The Church of the Holy Spirit is a modern church building in the Dúbravka district featuring a circular architectural form that rises to about 30 m in height. A metal dove sculpture crowns the top of the structure and represents the Holy Spirit above the interior space.
The building was designed by architects Ľudovít Režucha and Marián Lupták with construction starting in 2001. The consecration ceremony took place on October 26, 2002.
The building functions as a gathering space for the local Catholic community to participate in regular worship and spiritual celebrations. People come together here for masses and important moments in their religious life.
The interior space accommodates approximately 448 seated visitors with additional standing room for ceremonies and events. The building is easy to reach and welcomes visitors interested in attending services or viewing the contemporary architecture.
The unconventional roof design departs significantly from traditional church architecture forms. This innovative approach makes the building a notable example of contemporary religious architecture in the city.
