Built in 1631 under the direction of Cardinal Péter Pázmány, the manor house replaced an earlier structure and served as a residence for regional administrators.
The manor house contains period furniture and decorative elements that represent the living conditions of Slovak nobility during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Visitors can access the manor house through guided tours that operate from Tuesday to Sunday, with special exhibitions held in the main ceremonial hall.
The building preserves original defensive elements integrated into its Renaissance design, including thick stone walls and strategically placed observation points.
