The building represents post-war architectural development in Slovakia, incorporating elements that mirror the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.
The complex integrates commercial retail spaces with accommodation services through a connecting corridor between the department store and hotel sections.
The hotel's first-floor Kyjev Club contains an oval-shaped bar recessed into the ground and features a large chandelier overlooking the city.
