The Church of Saint Ladislaus stands on a hill in the northwestern part of Spišský Štvrtok with a rectangular nave and square chancel.
Built in the second half of the 13th century, the church received additional Gothic elements in 1473 through a chapel funded by Stephen Zapolya.
The church underwent alternating periods between Catholic and Protestant control, reflecting the religious changes in Slovak society through different centuries.
The church building measures 12.8 meters in length and features two distinct floors in its chapel section, including an oratory level.
The chapel's height of 12.9 meters exceeds its length, creating an unusual architectural proportion that distinguishes it from other regional churches.
