Phimai historical park
Phimai historical park, Historical park in Thailand
Phimai Historical Park is one of the largest Khmer temples of Thailand.
The temple was built during the 11th and 12th centuries when the area was part of the Khmer empire.
The temple's architecture shows strong Khmer influence, similar to Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
The park is open daily from 8am to 6pm.
It is believed that Phimai was the end point of the Ancient Khmer Highway.
