Wat Phra That Phanom, Buddhist temple in Thailand
Wat Phra That Phanom is a highly revered temple located in the Nakhon Phanom Province of northeastern Thailand.
The temple is believed to have been built during the Dvaravati period, around 535 BC.
It houses the Phra That Phanom chedi, which contains the Buddha's breast bone, making it an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists.
The temple complex is open daily from 6am to 6pm and there is no admission fee.
Every year during the full moon of the third lunar month, a grand festival is held at the temple that attracts thousands of pilgrims.
