Khlong Sam Wa

Khlong Sam Wa is an administrative district in northeastern Bangkok comprising five sub-districts that spread across a large area. The region includes Sam Wa Tawan Tok, Sam Wa Tawan Ok, Bang Chan, Sai Kong Din, and Sai Kong Din Tai.

The district was established in 1997 following the division of the former Min Buri district. Its name comes from a canal that runs through the area, marking its geographical significance.

Bang Chan functions as a local gathering hub where traditional markets and temples shape everyday community life. These spaces are woven into how residents spend their days and connect with one another.

The district is well-served by public transportation, with buses and waterways connecting different parts of the area. Getting around is straightforward if you follow the main roads and canals.
