Wat Bowon Sathan Suthawat

Wat Bowon Sathan Suthawat is a Buddhist temple in Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang with an ordination hall that houses traditional Thai murals. The paintings depict stories of 28 Buddhas and feature an important image known as Phra Phuttha Sihing.

A prince initiated construction during the reign of King Rama III, and the buildings were completed under King Mongkut in the Rattanakosin period. The temple's development reflects the artistic and religious growth of that royal era.

The temple serves as a space where teacher veneration ceremonies take place, deeply rooted in Thai educational practices. Visitors can observe the spiritual significance of these traditions in how the ordination hall is actively used.
