Chambi National Park, National park in Kasserine Governorate, Tunisia.
The park extends over 6,723 hectares around Mount Chambi, reaching the highest elevation point in Tunisia at 1,544 meters above sea level.
The area received protection status in 1970 with a 300-hectare reserve for Cuvier's gazelle before becoming a national park on December 18, 1980.
The park maintains traditional agricultural practices, with local communities using designated areas for grazing while preserving ancient olive press sites.
Visitors access the park through Kasserine city, located 17 kilometers east, with 35 rangers and 40 workers maintaining the protected grounds.
The park contains 262 plant species distributed across elevation zones, from alfa grass valleys to Aleppo pine forests and holm oak mountain peaks.
