The museum grew from a 1958 production building that originally belonged to Yongxing Furniture before the company moved to mainland China in 2005. The place keeps this economic past alive and shows how craftsmanship mattered for Taiwan's growth.

The building shows architectural features from Taiwanese homes of the 1960s and 1970s, preserving how people and workers lived during that industrial period. Walking through the rooms, you see the spaces and details that shaped daily life back then.
