Asia University Museum of Modern Art

Asia University Museum of Modern Art is a three-story museum in Wufeng showcasing modern art across multiple exhibition spaces with a distinctive triangular design created by architect Tadao Ando. The building houses rotating collections and temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

The museum was established following a groundbreaking ceremony in 2011 and opened to the public in October 2013 as an art institution of Asia University. It was created to make contemporary art accessible to audiences and support artistic development.

The museum brings together Taiwanese and international artists, creating a space where local and global artistic voices meet. Through its exhibitions, visitors encounter contemporary perspectives and diverse creative approaches side by side.

The museum is open to visitors during weekday and weekend hours, operating Tuesday through Sunday from early morning to late afternoon. The building includes multiple levels with stairs connecting the exhibition spaces, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended for exploring the entire venue.

The building was designed by Tadao Ando, an architect known for his use of concrete and light, which is evident in how natural light floods the interior spaces. The play of light through triangular windows and openings changes throughout the day, creating different visual experiences for viewing the artworks.
