Vyzhnytsia National Nature Park

The park extends across 7,928 hectares of mountain terrain, featuring gentle slopes, wide valleys, rock formations, and numerous waterfalls in the Carpathian Mountains.

The park, established in 1995, originated as a conservation area to protect the natural landscapes of Bukovinian Carpathians and their historical complexes.

The territory encompasses traditional lands of the Hutsul people, with numerous hiking paths connecting to local settlements and historical monuments.

The administration center in Berehomet manages 87 staff members, including scientific researchers and security personnel who maintain the park's facilities.

The park contains 960 vascular plant species and spans two distinct geobotanical districts, creating varied forest ecosystems with rare orchid populations.
