Volodarka

Volodarka is a settlement in Bila Tserkva Raion in Kyiv Oblast, extending across an area that encompasses several communities. The location sits along the Ros River and functions as an administrative center for the surrounding villages and hamlets in the region.

The settlement was founded in the 12th century and developed into an administrative center for the surrounding region. In 2020, the area underwent local administrative reforms that reshaped the structure and role of the settlement within the district.

During the early 1900s, Volodarka maintained a Jewish population of 2,079 residents who shaped the local traditions and community life.

The settlement sits at about 145 meters above sea level and has basic administrative facilities serving the local community. Visitors should note that infrastructure is typical for rural areas and planning ahead is recommended.

The settlement underwent a transformation in 2024, changing its classification from an urban-type settlement to a rural settlement under new administrative reforms.
