Kamyanne Selo, Geological reserve in Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine.
The reserve extends across 15 hectares of land with scattered large boulders that form natural structures resembling houses, squares, and religious buildings in the forest.
Scientists established two main theories about the site formation: glacial deposits of rocks or remains of ancient mountains that were exposed through glacial erosion.
The local population has incorporated the natural rock formations into their traditions, with specific stones receiving names based on their shapes and perceived significance.
The reserve lacks basic facilities and telecommunications infrastructure, requiring visitors to bring their own supplies of food, water, and navigation equipment.
One of the rock formations contains markings known as the footprints of God, which visitors can examine using an installed ladder structure.
