Lozove

Lozove is an urban-type settlement located in western Ukraine within Khmelnytskyi Oblast at an elevation of 288 meters (945 feet). The community forms part of the Derazhnia administrative structure following the 2020 territorial reorganization.

The settlement was founded in 1929 under the name Torforozrobka and received its urban-type designation in 1949 during Soviet administrative reforms. This elevation reflected the growing role of the community within the broader territorial structure of the Soviet era.

The settlement maintains both agricultural and urban characteristics, reflecting the transitional nature of communities in post-Soviet Ukrainian territories.

The settlement population decreased from 1,650 in 2001 to 1,516 in recent years, indicating demographic changes in Ukrainian urban-type communities.
