Antonivka Railway Bridge

The Antonivka Railway Bridge is a steel structure spanning 1,366 meters (4,482 feet) across the Dnipro River and connecting Kherson with its eastern regions. It also crosses the Konka, a tributary of the Dnipro, and serves as a key railway route for cargo and passenger transport.

Built in 1954, the bridge became a critical transport link between Kherson and eastern regions during the Soviet era. It played a fundamental role in developing the region's railway infrastructure.

The bridge holds a place in local identity and appeared on a commemorative 10 hryvnia coin from the National Bank of Ukraine in November 2023.

The bridge sits in an industrial setting and is best viewed from the surrounding area. Visitors should note that this is an active railway structure and may not be directly accessible on foot.

In 2022, the bridge gained strategic importance as a key supply route before sustaining significant damage from military actions. This event made it a notable landmark in the region's recent history.
