The stadium features individual seating areas across multiple tiers, with protective coverings over most spectator sections except the lower front rows.
The stadium opened in 2001, replacing the former Spartak Stadium that operated from 1949 until its demolition in the late 1980s.
The stadium serves as home ground for FC Viktoriya Sumy and secondary venue for FC Sumy, hosting regional football competitions throughout the season.
With a capacity of 25,830 spectators and modern facilities, the stadium ranks as the seventh largest sports venue in Ukraine.
The architectural design by Volodymyr Bykov and Ivan Lukash received the State Prize of Ukraine for its engineering and structural elements.
