Yuvileiny Stadium

Yuvileiny Stadium is a football stadium in Sumy with a seating capacity of approximately 25,830 spectators, ranking among Ukraine's larger sports facilities. The structure features multiple tiers of seating with protective coverings over most spectator sections, while the front lower rows remain uncovered.

The stadium opened in 2001, replacing the former Spartak Stadium that had operated since 1949 before being demolished in the late 1980s. This new construction represented a significant shift in the city's sports infrastructure following the end of the Soviet period.

The stadium serves as the home ground for FC Viktoriya Sumy and also hosts matches for FC Sumy in regional competitions. Both clubs use this venue regularly for their league games, making it a central gathering place for local football supporters.

The stadium is straightforward to access from outside, with multiple gates and entrances providing clear orientation for visitors. It is advisable to arrive early for larger events and plan visits around regular match days when facilities are fully operational.

The architectural design by Volodymyr Bykov and Ivan Lukash was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine for its engineering innovations and structural solutions. This recognition highlights the stadium's distinction as an example of contemporary sports architecture from the early 2000s.
