Museum "Cultural wealth of Ukraine"

The Museum of Cultural Wealth of Ukraine sits on Desiatynna Street and displays a large collection of Ukrainian jewelry, traditional costumes, and decorative arts. The exhibition includes items made from glass, ceramics, wood, and textiles that represent different periods of Ukrainian history.

This museum was founded in 2005 and preserves artifacts from the Bronze Age through the Kyivan Rus period. Its collection documents the evolution of Ukrainian craftsmanship over many centuries.

The collection shows namysto koralove necklaces, traditional wedding crowns, and elaborate jewelry that reflect social status and religious traditions. These objects tell stories of celebrations and family customs that run deep in Ukrainian life.

The museum is located in central Kyiv in an easily accessible area with good public transport links. Plan to spend at least two to three hours to view the large collection at a comfortable pace.

The museum holds the largest collection of works by artist Maria Prymachenko and also displays important paintings by Kateryna Bilokur. These two artists shaped modern Ukrainian painting through their innovative techniques and subjects.
