The Chocolate House displays a brown-colored facade with rusticated stonework patterns across its two-story structure at Shovkovychna Street in central Kyiv.
Built in 1901 by architect Vladimir Nikolayev for merchant Semyon Mogilevtsev, the building served as a marriage registration office between 1960 and 1982.
The mansion functions as a branch of the Kyiv National Art Gallery, hosting children's art exhibitions and classical music concerts throughout the year.
Visitors can explore the mansion through guided tours from 11:00 to 18:30, except Mondays and Thursdays, with access to multiple halls decorated in different styles.
Each room presents distinct architectural elements, from Renaissance to Moorish designs, featuring decorative stucco work, frescoes, and stained glass windows.
