Sainted-Uspenskiy Mikolo-Vasilivskiy monastery, Orthodox monastery in Mykilske village, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine
The monastery complex includes four churches, residential buildings for monks, pilgrimage accommodations, and refectories spread across the extensive grounds.
Founded in 1998, the monastery emerged from the reconstruction of an older stone church built in 1912 on the site of a wooden predecessor.
The monastery holds over 200 holy relics of Orthodox saints and maintains daily religious services following Eastern Orthodox traditions.
The monastery currently faces significant challenges due to military activities in the region, making visits temporarily restricted for safety reasons.
The entrance church-bell tower, constructed in 2005, features exterior walls decorated with intricate religious mosaics depicting sacred images.
