Sainted-Uspenskiy Mikolo-Vasilivskiy monastery

The Sainted-Uspenskiy Mikolo-Vasilivskiy Monastery is an Orthodox monastery located in Mykilske village in Donetsk Oblast. The complex contains four churches, residential buildings for monks, pilgrimage accommodations, and dining halls distributed across its spacious grounds.

The monastery was founded in 1998 from the reconstruction of an older stone church built in 1912 on the site of a wooden predecessor. The restoration of this location followed a long period of inactivity and revived the spiritual significance of the historic place.

The monastery houses more than 200 holy relics of Orthodox saints and serves as a place for daily religious observances following Eastern Orthodox customs. Pilgrims and believers gather here to express their faith and participate in liturgical celebrations.
