Парк Перемоги, Public park in Saltivka district, Kharkiv, Ukraine
Peremohi Park is a large green space in eastern Kharkiv with artificial ponds, walking paths, and different recreational zones. The place has children's playgrounds, sports facilities, an observation wheel, roller coasters, and food spots throughout.
The park opened in May 1985, replacing an earlier collective garden site. The opening was timed to mark the 40th anniversary of World War II's end.
The park holds a monument to Mikhail Lomonosov and the Matron of Moscow Church, which reflect the cultural memory of the district. These monuments shape how the place looks and tell visitors about what matters to the people living here.
The site is easy to explore on foot, with many paths connecting the different areas. Visitors should allow time to walk between zones and discover the various facilities spread throughout.
Within the park sits the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity, which runs educational programs for hundreds of local students. This facility brings learning opportunities directly into the green space and serves as a hub for young people.
