All Saints’ Church, Feodosia, Eastern Orthodox temple in Feodosia, Ukraine.
All Saints' Church is an Eastern Orthodox temple in Feodosia featuring a square central plan with a tall dome that rises above the surrounding streets. The interior walls display modern paintings with gold backgrounds, created by Elena Makovei and her team as original artistic interpretations.
The structure was built in 1884 using Inkerman stone as the original foundation for this religious site. Complete demolition occurred in 1961, followed by reconstruction and reopening in 2003 after decades of absence from the city's landscape.
The church serves as a spiritual center for the Orthodox community of Feodosia, where services and religious gatherings bring people together throughout the year. Visitors can see how the space shapes the daily religious life and traditions of those who worship here.
The church is located directly opposite the central market of Feodosia, making it simple to find within the city. Visitors should expect regular services and plan their visit with respect for ongoing religious ceremonies and the behavior expected in a place of worship.
The interior artwork was created through collaboration rather than by a single artist, with Elena Makovei leading a team effort to design the wall paintings. This cooperative approach to creating sacred art makes the interior a distinctive example of how modern churches can be shaped by collective artistic vision.
