Zamek w Sutkowcach, Medieval fortress in Sutkivtsi, Ukraine.
The stone castle features defensive walls, corner towers, and a gate tower, situated on elevated ground near the Ushytsia River.
Built in the 15th century by Fedir Sutkivetskyi, the castle underwent reconstruction in 1623 under Oleksandr Balaban to strengthen defenses against Tatar raids.
The castle complex includes the fortified Intercession Church, combining military architecture with religious functions in a Gothic-influenced design.
One preserved tower and sections of the defensive walls remain accessible for visitors exploring the medieval fortification system.
Count Alessandro Cagliostro, the European adventurer, spent time at the castle during its ownership by the Hrabyanka Cossack family in the 18th century.
