Holy Trinity Cathedral

The Holy Trinity Cathedral is a large Orthodox church building distinguished by nine golden domes rising above Cherkasy's skyline. The structure combines traditional Byzantine architectural elements with a spacious interior designed to accommodate many worshippers.

A wooden Trinity Church built by Cossacks stood on this site from 1671, and a stone temple was constructed in 1863 to replace it. The current cathedral evolved from that stone structure and remains a key Orthodox landmark in the region.
