Seimskyi Landscape Park

This protected natural area spans 988 square kilometers along the Seym River, featuring pine forests, swamps, lakes, and diverse ecosystems.

The park received official designation as a protected zone in December 1995, following conservation planning initiatives that began in 1980.

Environmental education programs within the park enhance public understanding of natural resource management and local ecological systems.

The park administration maintains a network of trails for visitors to observe wildlife, including elk, roe deer, foxes, and numerous bird species.

In 2017, local hunters initiated protests against the park's administration, leading to legal battles that reaffirmed the protected status of the area.
