Dnistrovsko-Tsarehradskyi Lighthouse, Leuchtturm an der Schwarzmeerküste in der Gemeinde Satoka , Bezirk Bilhorod-Dnistrowskyj, Region Odessa in der Ukraine

The Dnistrovsko-Tsarehradskyi Lighthouse is a tall red metal lattice tower on Ukraine's coast near Karolino-Buhaz that guides ships safely through the Dniester estuary waters. Its metal framework, supported by wire cables, is designed to withstand the strong coastal winds of the region.

The lighthouse was built during an era when shipping became increasingly important to the region, following early 20th century design standards. Though modern navigation systems like GPS now exist, it continues to serve its original purpose and remains vital for maritime safety in the area.

The lighthouse's name references Tsaregrad, a historic town that once served as an important regional trade center. For local residents, this structure represents a maritime tradition passed down through generations, connecting the present to the area's long relationship with river and sea commerce.

The lighthouse can be viewed from the shore and is accessible during clear weather conditions when visibility is good. The area is not crowded, making it suitable for leisurely walks along the water's edge.

The lighthouse's light flashes in a recognizable pattern every 7.5 seconds and can be seen from up to 16 miles away, helping local fishermen and boaters find safe passages. This steady, rhythmic beacon enabled safe navigation long before modern GPS systems became available.
