Embley Park, Grade II listed park and garden in Wellow, England

The 126-hectare estate includes 8 hectares of formal gardens, woodland areas, and maintained lawns surrounding a historic red brick mansion with stone details.

The estate dates back to the 10th century when it belonged to Romsey Abbey, later becoming the childhood residence of Florence Nightingale in the 19th century.

The gardens reflect traditional English landscape design with terraces, gravel paths, and a collection of native and foreign trees arranged in formal patterns.

Access to Embley Park is through wrought-iron gates on the A27 road, with two early 19th-century yellow brick lodges marking the entrance.

The property features a 100-meter terrace extending from the south garden front, complemented by a fishing lake created between the late 18th and 19th centuries.
