Queen's House, Art museum in London
The Queen's House is a former royal residence built between 1616 and 1635 in Greenwich, a downriver borough of London.
Designed by Inigo Jones, the Queen's House is one of the most important buildings in British architectural history, being the first consciously classical building to have been constructed in Britain.
It was once used as a residential palace but now houses a collection of great artistic importance.
The Queen's House is free to visit and open daily from 10am to 5pm.
Its 'Tulip Stairs' are the first geometric self-supporting spiral stairs in Britain.
