Palace of Westminster, Government building in London

The Palace of Westminster is an iconic symbol of British history and politics, housing the UK's Parliament.

The Palace's Elizabeth Tower, commonly known as Big Ben, is one of the most famous landmarks in the UK.

Visitors can take guided tours through the historic building when Parliament is not in session.

The Palace of Westminster is the only royal palace in the UK which is not the property of the monarch.
