MetLife Building, Skyscraper in Manhattan
The MetLife Building is a 59-story skyscraper at 200 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
Completed in 1963, the building was originally called the Pan Am Building and was the largest commercial office space in the world when it opened.
The MetLife Building has appeared in numerous films and TV shows such as 'Friends' and 'The Avengers'.
It's home to various companies, restaurants, and a hub for transportation with the Grand Central Terminal located directly underneath.
Despite being named after Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, the building has never served as their headquarters.
