Orland Park

Orland Park is a residential village in Cook County, Illinois, with an area of about 22 square miles (57 square kilometers) that contains many neighborhoods and commercial areas spread throughout. Parks and green spaces are distributed across the community, providing public gathering places for residents.

The first settler, Henry Taylor, arrived in 1834, and the village was officially established in 1892. This founding period set the stage for the community's development into a suburban center.

The village maintains multiple community centers and recreational facilities where residents participate in year-round sports programs and social activities.

Three Metra railway stations provide connections to downtown Chicago, making it easy to navigate the area and reach other parts of the region. The community also sits near major highways for those traveling by car.

The Centennial Park Aquatic Center features a large swimming pool with water slides open to the public during summer. This facility serves as a seasonal gathering place for families and visitors throughout the warm months.
