Alderman Road Dormitories, Student dormitory complex at University of Virginia, United States.
Alderman Road Dormitories comprise nine residence hall buildings that house around 1,600 students. Most rooms accommodate two residents, with shared bathrooms located on each floor.
The complex was completely rebuilt between 2006 and 2015, replacing original structures from the 1960s. This renovation brought modern facilities and contemporary living standards to the residential community.
Each residence hall carries the name of someone who shaped the university's history. These names honor educators, administrators, and others who contributed meaningfully to the institution's development.
The buildings are equipped with air conditioning, wireless internet, and common spaces for socializing. Laundry facilities and dining areas are conveniently nearby.
About 40 to 50 first-year students share each floor and its facilities together. Two resident advisors live among them to help with daily life and community building.
