Exelon Pavilions, Energy-efficient pavilions in the United States
The Exelon Pavilions comprise four solar energy-generating structures in Millennium Park, Chicago.
Constructed in November 2004, the pavilions were part of the effort to revitalize downtown Chicago.
Designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano, they embody a blend of innovative architecture and sustainability.
These pavilions provide power to the park and serve as gateways to the underground parking garage.
They are among the first buildings in Chicago that produce electricity through solar energy.
