Peoples' Friendship Palace is a concert hall and cinema in Chilanzar district, Uzbekistan. Three large interior mosaics titled Peoples' Friendship, Holiday, and Land of Flowers decorate the walls throughout the building.
Construction of this grand structure began in 1971 and reached completion in 1981, marking a significant architectural achievement during the Soviet era. The palace was conceived during a period of active cultural and infrastructure development.
The building showcases national ornamental patterns and traditional muqarnas architectural elements throughout its design. Visitors can see local Nurota and Gozgon marbles used extensively in the structure.
The palace accommodates around 6,000 people and serves as the main venue for concerts, film screenings, conferences, and international summits. Plan ahead as large events are regularly held here.
