Po Nagar, Hindu temple in Vietnam
Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower located in the medieval principality of Kauthara, near modern Nha Trang in Vietnam.
Built between the 8th and 11th centuries by the Cham people, who once ruled the central plain of Vietnam.
The Po Nagar tower is a significant place of worship for Hindus and Buddhists in Vietnam.
The temple complex is open to visitors and offers stunning views over the river and nearby town.
The largest tower in the complex, at 23 meters high, was built in 817 AD and contains a linga and a statue dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, who became a goddess.
