Chi Linh City

Chi Linh is a provincial city in Hải Dương that spreads across varied terrain with mountains, forests, and multiple river systems. The natural geography creates a landscape of different elevations and water features throughout the area.

The region was previously called Bang Chau, Bang Ha, and Phuong Son before receiving its current name Chi Linh in the 15th century. This name change reflected the area's administrative evolution over time.

The Côn Sơn and Kiếp Bạc temples serve as places where locals and visitors honor important Vietnamese figures from history. These sites remain central to the spiritual life of the community.

The city connects to Hanoi through buses, train services, and well-maintained roads for those traveling by car. Multiple transportation options make reaching the area straightforward from the capital.

The Star Golf course opened in 2003 and became a major golfing destination in northern Vietnam. The nearby area of Phả Lại is home to one of the region's largest thermal power plants.
